Selection Of Bedding Fabrics

1. Polyester-cotton brand products generally use polyester-cotton fabrics with a ratio of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Polyester-cotton is divided into plain and twill. Plain polyester-cotton fabrics are thin, with good strength and wear resistance, and very little shrinkage. The appearance of the products made of them is not easy to distort, and they are affordable and durable, but they are not as comfortable and close to the body as pure cotton. In addition, since polyester is not easy to dye, polyester-cotton fabrics are mostly light and light-colored, which are more suitable for use in spring and summer. Twill polyester-cotton is usually denser than plain weave, so it appears dense and thick, and the surface gloss and feel are better than plain weave.
2. Yarn-dyed pure cotton is a kind of pure cotton fabric, which is woven with warp and weft yarns of different colors. Because it is dyed first and then woven, the dye has strong permeability, the yarn-dyed fastness is better, and the fabrics of different-colored yarns have a strong three-dimensional sense and a unique style. Bedding products are mostly striped and checked. It has the characteristics of pure cotton fabrics, but usually has a greater shrinkage rate.
3. Silk fabrics are gorgeous and rich in appearance, with natural soft light and shimmering effects, comfortable to the touch, high in strength, better elasticity and moisture absorption than cotton, but easy to get dirty, and worse in heat resistance to strong sunlight than cotton. Its fiber cross section is a unique triangle, and the reflection of light changes after partial moisture absorption, which easily forms water stains and is difficult to remove, so white cloth should be placed when ironing silk fabrics.
4. High-count and high-density jacquard fabrics The warp and weft density of pure cotton fabrics is particularly large, and the weaving method is rich, so the fabric feels thick, durable, and has a high degree of finish. Most of them are natural flowers with light-colored backgrounds, which are particularly unique and elegant. It is a more advanced type of pure cotton fabric.
5. Pure cotton feels good, is comfortable to use, easy to dye, has a variety of patterns, is soft and warm, has strong moisture absorption, is washable, and has little static electricity. It is a widely used material for bedding; but it is easy to wrinkle, shrink, has poor elasticity, is acid-resistant but not alkali-resistant, and is not suitable for long-term treatment at high temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is best to spray cotton products with water when ironing, so that they are easy to iron. If conditions permit, use a steam iron to iron the product after each use, and the effect will be better.
